20 hours class + 16 hours work + 15 hours homework + shitty internet connection leads to a non-Vaiio week.
Random fact: a ball bouncing down 3 stairs takes over 3 hours to animate.
School is going well. My drawing skills are
improving................. slowly. Every once in a while I
have one or two small things that I'm marginally proud of, but nothing
too good, yet. Colour theory class is fun. Basically it's
just playing with paints. The teacher is great and it's
near-therapeutic.
Also getting used to hanging out with other people over time :P
Last night about 6-7 of us hung out at school with a couple computers
and some video game systems until almost 2 am. Several times I
felt like I should go home, but seriously glad I didn't. I'd love
to play ffxi more, but I no longer have the patience to sit
through/fiddle with my router. Maybe if I can afford my own
connection one day, I'll come back more often. Bleh.

| So bunch of random shit, really.
I got BLM to 50, so time to start AF. Of course, as a BLM, I
never bothered with the weapon, so I had to get that out of the way
first.
I even went as /BLM for an easy warp after and it was cake.
The most amusing part was the crazy taru scripts. Shantotto was a
little disappointing - her dialogue written all that time ago is not
nearly as clever as it is now. But there was this weirdo.
.... The fuck has she been smoking?
Well, all's well that ends well.
Next, AF1! When I get around to it.... HQ Staves are a
pain, and definately too much stress on my meager wallet right now, so
I'll have to gimp it for a little while. And by gimp I mean,
avoiding nuking with water since that staff is 60k >.> The
hell, yo? Fire resist? MND? /boggle.
So then there was the last Dynamis I've been able to attend.
Tiny paid a visit, and I swear, he's like one of those cats that knows
when you're in a bad mood. I was tired and cranky for god knows
what reason, but the next thing I knew there was a taru in my lap!
Not the usual one, either.
Well, it only got worse from there.
And worse....
And worse!
But all in all a good night. Thanks for cheering me up, guys.

School is really kicking my ass, and it's only the first week.
So... hope to get more time on these days. Byrd figured out that
the problem with my internet seems to be my routers overheating.
That made sense since they're stacked on top of each other (with the
ventilation holes on the tops) and stuck in a tiny little boiler
room. So. Gonna get a fan tomorrow hopefully, and see if I
can fix it. That... would rock.

| So, yeah. Moved to my new place. Unfortunately the internet
here is like, 1 signal split 12 different ways, hence it's intermittant
as hell. Sometimes when I'm lucky it's stable, but it loves to go
down every 4-5 seconds normally. So, FFXI can't keep up, and R%
goes from 100 to 60 to 80 to 40 to 60 to 20 etc.
No FFXI for me for a while =(
I can't afford my own connection right now, I moved here because this
one came with a connection, and bleh. Oh well. I'll do what
I can, prolly will be a few months.
